It is our mission and our passion to bring people and horses together to promote emotional growth and learning and to help with a variety of emotional, behavioral, neurological and developmental health issues.
Direct Services
Culturally Competent Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (CEAP) is used to help with a variety of mental health issues. We put our clients and horses together with licensed therapists and horse specialists in an environment designed to promote healing, emotional growth, and learning.
Professional Development
EHI Training and Resource Center programs emphasize cultural competency, diversity, and inclusion training for therapists, students, and equine specialists. Some programs provide professionals with CEUs.
Culturally Competent Equine Assisted Psychotherapy Certification (CEAP)
Professional certification, empathic and quality delivery of service, equine knowledge, and cultural competency standards are the basis of the Culturally Competent Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (CEAP) Certification.
Equine Assisted Psychotherapy is an effective alternative to other forms of therapy, and, is being practiced by many organizations. The EHI model addresses the cultural differences, needs, and approaches for clients’ diverse demographics.
We offer Culturally Competent Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (CEAP) Training and Certification for Mental Health Professionals and Equine Specialists (aka Horse Specialists) through online study materials combined with a two-day on-site training at our campus.
