We believe in the healing power of horses.

Ebony Horsewomen (EHI) is a unique urban equestrian and riding center in Hartford, Connecticut. Since 1984, we have served youth, families, adults, and military veterans in our community through equine-assisted psychotherapy, therapeutic riding, and a variety of youth programs.

The Mary Fields Museum and Conference Center

The Mary Fields Museum & Conference Center

Grand Opening scheduled for July 12, 2025

Our building is up! We're excited to enter the final stages of completing our new facility, which will provide much-needed education and meeting spaces for our community. The museum will honor Stagecoach Mary, a Black pioneer woman admired and respected for living life on her own terms and making valuable contributions to her community in post-Civil War Montana.
